NFL Thanksgiving Prop Bets are the Perfect Side Dish

by Vegas Writer

Wednesday, Nov 26, 2025

With three games set for Thanksgiving, here are some player props to think about before heading back for seconds, and that will most certainly be better than any green bean casserole.PACKERS at LIONSJahmyr Gibbs 5+ receptions (-140)The Detroit running back registered a career-high 11 receptions, a career-best 264 scrimmage yards (219 rushing, 45 receiving) and three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) last week. The Packers have allowed 54 receptions by running backs this season, tied for the eighth most in the league.CHIEFS at COWBOYSPatrick Mahomes Over 270 yards (-105)The Kansas City quarterback passed for 352 yards last week, his 50th career game with at least 300 passing yards. Mahomes has passed for more than 270 yards in four of his last five games, and 270 or more in six of 11 this season. I'm betting he and Dak Prescott could get into a passing showdown on Turkey Day, as it wouldn't surprise me if this is the most entertaining game of the day. Mahomes will pass for more than 270 yards.RAVENS at BENGALSDerrick Henry 2+ TDs (+230)I have confidence Baltimore's star running back will get at least one touchdown, but that price is too steep. I'd rather take the huge value in him getting two or more touchdowns, as he rushed for two touchdowns last week, his 30th career game with multiple rushing touchdowns - the third-most such games in NFL history. Henry ranks fifth in the NFL with nine rushing touchdowns this season, and faces a Bengals defense that has allowed nine TDs to running backs, tied for ninth highest in the league.

MLS Cup Futures (2025 Season)

by Amedeus Mastrangelo

Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025

The MLS Cup is down to the Conference Finals with just 4 teams remaining. Inter Miami and New York City FC will battle it out for the Eastern Conference on Saturday, November 29, while San Diego FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps battle it out for the Western Conference on the same day. Both Conference Finals are single matches with the higher seed having home advantage, and the MLS Cup Final will be played on Saturday, December 6, with the higher seed from the full MLS league table having home advantage in that match.  MLS Cup Winner Inter Miami +150: Inter Miami is the team with the best chance at taking home the MLS Cup this season, according to the oddsmakers. Inter Miami finished in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with 65 points from a 19-8-7 record and they also finished in 3rd place in the overall league table. They have one of the better squads in the league, led by one of the best players in the world in Messi, and this has been something that they have been building toward since he entered the league. They have come close in recent years, but everything has fallen in line this season for it to be their year. They did struggle a bit in the 1st round of the playoffs as they dropped their away match against Nashville, but they were dominant in both home matches to advance. They were also dominant in the last round as they went on the road and beat a very good Cincinnati team that actually finished higher in the table. Inter Miami has been a much stronger team at home all season though, going 1-3-3 there during the regular season, and they are going to have the home advantage in the Eastern Conference Finals. There is no Western Conference team that finished higher in the table either so Inter Miami will have home advantage in the MLS Cup Final as well if they can get there. They have had the strongest attack in the league all season with 81 goals scored in their 34 matches, the next best team in the league scoring 68. Their defense has also tightened up as they have not allowed a goal in their last 2 playoff matches. Inter Miami has the pieces to get the job done this season and this is the trophy that Messi has been chasing since joining the league. Inter Miami at +150 has a lot of value. San Diego FC +225: San Diego FC is the team with the next best chance at taking home the MLS Cup this season, according to the oddsmakers. San Diego finished the regular season in 1st place of the Western Conference with 63 points from a 19-6-9 record and they also finished in 4th place of the overall league table. San Diego is still in its inaugural season, but they have had a dominant 1st season in the MLS. They have a lot of quality in their squad and have truly made a statement in this 1st season. They were great in the 1st round of the playoffs as they kicked out Portland, winning both home matches and forcing penalties which they lost in their away match. Now they are coming off of a 1-0 win against Minnesota in the last round, but their attack was not great in the match. Their defense has been great in the playoffs as they have not allowed a goal in their last 2 matches and their defense has also been great all season, allowing 41 goals in their 34 matches. They scored 64 goals in their 34 matches as well, being very balanced this season, and they are going to have the home advantage in the Western Conference Finals. They will not have home advantage if they get to the MLS Cup, but they have also been the best away team in the league all season. They are facing Vancouver in the Western Conference Finals and that is no easy out, but they have played Vancouver twice this season and did not lose either match. They drew 1 and won 1, but they actually won the away match and drew the home match. That could be a problem here as San Diego was significantly worse at home this season at 7-5-5, so the home advantage could even work against them here. San Diego has the pieces to get to the Final, but this is still their 1st season in the league and they are going to run into some tough competition that wants it more. There is some value in San Diego FC at this price, but they are not the best option here.  Vancouver Whitecaps +250: Vancouver is the team with the next best chance at taking home the MLS Cup this season, according to the oddsmakers. Vancouver finished the regular season in 2nd place in the Western Conference with 63 points from an 18-9-7 record and they also finished in 5th place in the overall league table. They had a very good attack this season that scored 66 goals in their 34 matches, and they also had the 2nd best defense in the league, allowing 38 goals in their 34 matches. They were dominant in the 1st round of the playoffs as they swept Dallas in 2 matches, winning 3-0 at home and beating them in penalties away from home after a 1-1 draw. They also knocked out a heavy hitter in the last round as they kicked out LAFC, but they won at home in penalties after a 2-2 draw, and they had a late 2-0 lead in that match which they blew. Their defense has not played as well recently with 3 goals allowed in their last 2 matches and that could get them into trouble here being away from home. They were 8-5-4 away from home this season which was still one of the better away records in the league this season, but they are up against a San Diego side in the Western Conference Finals that will be able to match their defensive play. Vancouver also played against San Diego twice this season and did not win either match. They drew the away match in San Diego, but this is going to be a very tough match for them to get through and they could have an even tougher opponent waiting for them in the Final with no home advantage for the rest of the playoffs either, unless NYCFC makes the Final. Vancouver has been a very good team this season, but they have potentially 2 very tough teams standing in their way so there is not a lot of value in them at this price with all things considered.  New York City FC +800: New York City FC is the team with the next best chance at taking home the MLS Cup this season, according to the oddsmakers. NYCFC finished the regular season in 5th place of the Eastern Conference with 56 points from a 17-5-12 record and they also finished in 9th place in the overall league table. They had a good defense this season that allowed 44 goals in their 34 matches and they were able to lean on that defense throughout these playoffs. Their attack has not been good all season though as they only scored 50 goals in their 34 matches, which is the lowest of the remaining teams, and they only scored 5 goals in all 4 of their playoff matches. They were able to knock out a higher seeded Charlotte side in the 1st round with better defense. They actually drew their only home match 0-0, losing in penalties, but won both away matches by scores of 3-1 and 1-0. They also pulled off another impressive win in the last round as they went on the road in a single match round and kicked out the Supporters’ Shield winner, the Philadelphia Union, with a 1-0 away win. They have been very impressive in the playoffs, but they were not in good form going into the playoffs and that could start to catch up to them now. They are by far the least talented team left in the playoffs and they have the best team left in the competition in front of them. NYCFC was 6-5-6 away from home this season which is not bad, but it is not a great record either and they actually allowed more goals than they scored in their 17 away matches. They do not have the home advantage in this next round and they will not have home advantage against anyone left in the playoffs. NYCFC has gone on a magical run in the playoffs, but they do not have the pieces to win the MLS Cup this season and will likely get stopped before the Final. There is no real value in NYCFC at this price.  RecommendationWith only 4 teams left in the competition, it has become very clear where the MLS Cup Final is headed. With the way each team has played this season and the quality on both sides, the MLS Cup is headed right for an Inter Miami vs San Diego FC Final. San Diego FC at +225 to win the MLS Cup is not a bad option, but the much better option would be to take San Diego FC to reach the Final at -138. San Diego has a very good team that certainly has the quality to win it all in their 1st ever season, but that is still a very tough feat to accomplish and everything is pointing toward this being Messi’s year. Inter Miami made a statement in the last round with a 4-0 away win over the 2nd best team in the league during the regular season. Inter Miami at +150 to win the MLS Cup is the best option as it is finally their year to do it.

News From Each American Sport

by AAA Sports

Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025

In the NFL:  Thanksgiving weekend is upon us and there's some terrific games still to be played this season. The Thanksgiving/Black Friday card includes: Green Bay @ DetroitKansas City @ Dallas Cincinnati @ BaltimoreChicago @ PhiladelphiaWho's going to win this year's MVP award? With the 'normal' powerhouse teams having a bit of trouble this season, the MVP is most certainly still up for grabs into the final third of the season. Matthew Stafford has taken the lead for the favorite after his performance against the Buccaneers this week and he's at -210 at DraftKings. But, Drake Maye is on his heels at +200. Pat Mahomes / Josh Allen are falling further and further back but it's not set in stone quite yet. Jonathan Taylor and his breathtaking season is also among that group with those QBs. Who's the Super Bowl favorite? As one would think, the Rams of LA are the favorites to win right now at +400 but it's definitely still up in the air. Philadelphia, Kansas City, Seattle and Indianapolis come next with plenty of other teams within the +1200 range and lower.  In the NBA:  The first month of the NBA season has passed and here's what we know. The Oklahoma City Thunder really could be challenging the 72-10 Bulls and the 73-9 Warriors for best regular season record of all time. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hasn't even been needed to play the fourth quarter in a lot of the Thunder's games this year they are so good. In the East ~ Detroit is unconscious right now with a 12 game winning streak and Toronto is on an eight game winning streak. Washington , Indiana , Brooklyn and Charlotte combine for just 10 wins. Denver / LAL / Houston are all making moves in the West. But, New Orleans continues to have trouble keeping up with anybody.  In the NHL:  Just like the NBA, a month and a bit has passed by in the NHL. Colorado has definitely been the top team so far winning 16 of it's 22 games. (five OTL meaning it's failed to get a point in just one of 22 games.) The Eastern Conference is so wide open with #1-14 separated by just six points. Nashville is in shambles again. Calgary can't keep the puck out of it's net. And Toronto might need to make some moves with the injury problems.  In College Sports: The last weekend of the NCAAFB regular season is this week with some of the top rivalry games in all of sports. The Game between Ohio State and Michigan. The Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. Many more without names as big as those will take places too including UGA and Georgia Tech. Texas A&M and Texas. And more. The end of November in College Basketball means that there is a boat load of tournaments going on right now across the United States and even Mexico. There are getting to be more and more tournaments every single year with more and more to play for. Some of the tournaments have an immense amount of NIL Money and others are giving big trophies unlike any we've ever seen.

College Football Rivalry Week Betting Myth To Avoid

by Kyle Hunter

Monday, Nov 24, 2025

College football rivalry week is here. As a big fan of college football, this is one of my favorite weeks of the season. Whether it is Ohio State/Michigan, Alabama/Auburn, Wisconsin/Minnesota, UCLA/USC, Ole Miss/Miss St, or even an under the radar rivalry like Louisiana/ULM this week is full of emotion. Betting these games can be tricky, but I wanted to focus on talking about one common idea out there that I believe can get people into trouble when betting these rivalry games. It’s a rivalry game, so just throw the records and statistics out the window because none of that matters at all. You’ll hear that several times if you listen to television previews of these games or even some radio or podcast previews of these rivalry showdowns. There are always going to be some results that surprise, but that is the case every single weekend in college football. It will be easy after the fact for someone to say there is that one specific result that proves that the records and stats don’t matter. Hindsight is always 20/20, but as bettors we have to predict what will happen before the game kicks off.I do not subscribe to the theory that none of the stats these teams have built up over the course of the year matter. The records also matter. I don’t want to handicap any college football games without the data in front of me. I’m certainly not going to just discount all the work these teams have put in all year. Does it matter that Team B has a terrible offensive line and Team A is fantastic at pressuring opposing quarterbacks? Of course it does! The rivalry game alone doesn’t fix that issue. Now, if you have a coach that has fared very well as an underdog or has consistently fared very well against that specific rival, that is data that can matter. Maybe they can consistently put together a great game plan for this rival. That’s not the same thing as saying throw everything else out the window! It will be a fun rivalry week, but I would be very careful of throwing everything out the window that these teams have done over the course of the long season!

CBB Betting- Feast Week Multi Event Tournament Betting Strategies

by Kyle Hunter

Monday, Nov 24, 2025

Feast week is here and that means there will be loads of games going on all throughout the day as the multi event tournaments go on all over the country. I have three tips for betting on these college hoops tournaments. While we see a bunch of these tournaments during the week of Thanksgiving, there will be some of these continuing even into the month of December. The results are far more random than the average college basketball game- consider going partially on the moneyline with underdog selections that you like. Every year there are some very volatile results during these neutral site tournaments. Many of the teams are a long way from home. There aren’t many fans in the stands for either team. These are places the teams are not accustomed to playing. This can lead to some wild results. These are the types of results we look back on at the end of the season and think “How did Team B beat Team A back in late November?” Consider putting part of your bet on the underdog on the moneyline. Pay Attention To Depth- These tournaments lead to teams playing three games in three days or occasionally even more than that. As we get deeper into the tournament, backing those teams that virtually never use their bench is very risky. The tired legs start missing jump shots. I think this is a particularly strong system to look towards when a tired team is playing against a transition based offense that does have a lot of depth. Early Unders on Neutrals- The under tends to do pretty well in early games on these neutral courts. What do I mean by early games? Two things: 1. The first game at this new venue for both teams. They can have very unique shooting backdrops that take some time for the jump shooters to get accustomed to. A successful look in the last few years has been to take first half unders in the first game at a new location. 2. Games that start at a early time in the day (for example 11 am eastern tipoffs) have trended toward the under in these tournaments. It makes sense because they are in a very different location usually multiple time zones from home, and the teams usually aren’t tipping off that early in the day.

NHL Off the Post: November 24th

by Sean Murphy

Monday, Nov 24, 2025

As the holidays approach, here's a look around the NHL at some news and notes you can use in your daily hockey handicapping.Devil of a timeNew Jersey has dropped three straight games and checks in just 5-7 over its last 12 games following a 8-1 start to the season. Injuries have played a role, most notably to Jack Hughes after his freak accident at a team function. Hughes is sorely missed as the team has produced three goals or less in six of its last seven contests. The good news is, the Devils schedule is manageable in the next several weeks as they'll play nine of their next 12 games at home and won't leave the Eastern time zone again until December 17th. Broadway bluesIt's been a trying campaign for the Rangers to this point as they enter the new week on a four-game slide including an 0-3 road trip that just wrapped up in Utah on Saturday. The week ahead offers no reprieve as they'll host the improving Blues before a two-game trip takes them to Raleigh and Boston before a return home in a back-to-back spot against the surging Lightning. You have to think it won't be long before changes are in order. Note that New York has mustered 22 shots on goal or less in six of its last seven games, scoring a grand total of 10 goals over its last five contests.Capital punishmentWashington is coming off a renaissance season that saw it finish first in the Eastern Conference but things haven't gone nearly as well so far in 2025-26. The Capitals have shown signs of turning it around at least, reeling off three wins in their last four games while scoring a whopping 20 goals over that stretch. Special teams remain a struggle. Note that the Caps have produced just four power play goals over their last 14 games. Meanwhile, the opposition has clicked at a 7-for-20 rate with the man advantage over their last six contests. Crowning achievementWhile the Kings have played an uneven brand of hockey and enter Monday's clash with the Senators on a three-game slide, their penalty kill has been elite. Los Angeles has allowed just one power play goal in its last 10 games, covering a span of 22 opponents' chances. Unfortunately, the Kings have been mired in a scoring drought of their own, producing one goal or less in three of their last four games and managing just one power play marker in their last 19 opportunities. They'll play five of their next six contests on home ice as they look to right the ship. The Dark Knight(s)Vegas has been a perennial contender in the Western Conference ever since it broke into the league with an incredible inaugural season. Early returns haven't been good in 2025-26, however, as they've managed just 27 points through 21 games. The Golden Knights enter Monday's three-game road trip finale in Utah having lost nine of their last 14 games including a 4-3 setback in Anaheim on Saturday. A four-game homestand will begin on Wednesday against Ottawa but whether that's a good thing is up for debate. The Knights are just 4-3-2 on home ice this season with those five losses coming in their last six contests on the Strip.

World Cup 2026 // What We Now Know.

by William Burns

Sunday, Nov 23, 2025

Over the past couple of months, most teams have been wrapping up their World Cup Qualifying campaigns in European football. Many teams had already qualified, but we just got a whole lot more of them. Now, there's still six teams remaining to punch their ticket. But, here's what we know so far and what to expect come next summer.  The Four Expected Pots:  Group selection will be chosen between four different "pots" for this upcoming tournament like it always is. The best teams/hosts in "pot one", the next best in "pot two" and so on (via. FIFA rankings.) Obviously, if Italy ends up coming through, it'll bump a couple of teams down spots. One team from each "pot" will form each group at the 2026 World Cup (barring any rule changes.)  Pot 1.  United States Of AmericaMexicoCanadaSpainArgentinaFranceEnglandBrazi;PortugalNetherlandsBelgiumGermany  Pot 2.  Croatia MorrocoColumbiaUruguaySwitzerlandJapanSenegalIranSouth KoreaEcuadorAustriaAustralia Pot 3.  NorwayPanamaEgyptAlgeriaScotlandParaguayTunisiaIvory CoastUzbekistanQatarSaudi ArabiaSouth Africa  Pot 4.  JordanCape VerdeGhanaCuracaoHaitiNew ZealandUEFA Playoff WinnerUEFA Playoff WinnerUEFA Playoff WinnerUEFA Playoff WinnerIC Playoff WinnerIC Playoff Winner Who's Facing Off in the Final Rounds of Playoffs? (will take place in March of 2026.) • Like mentioned above, Italy is a notable country fighting for its WC dreams once again this year. It will have to face Northern Ireland, and then the winner of Wales/Bosnia to secure its spot. • Ukraine & Sweden face off against each other as well with the winner going up against Poland & Albania. Three of these teams featured in the Euro Cup just two years ago. • Turkey will also battle Romania with the winner facing the winner of Slovakia/Kosovo. • And to finish off the European qualifiers, Denmark, somewhat shockingly finds itself pinned against the wall. It will face North Macedonia .. with the winner of that match going up against the winner of Ireland/Czechia. • In the IC Playoff Qualifiers, both DR Congo & Iraq recovered byes, directly into the finals of the playoffs. • New Caledonia, a French territory, will face Jamaica in one of the Semis. The winner gets DR Congo.• And in the second Semi-Final, Suriname/Bolivia go H2H for a right to play against Iraq and a chance at a WC bid.  William Burns' Way-Too-Early Tips/Predictions:  Obviously, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that a team in "pot 4" is likely to come out and emerge as the team to beat in the World Cup and there's so much time from now and next summer that my opinion might change. However, as an early prediction I'm going to have to go with the European Champions of the world at the moment in Spain. The midfield is out of this world when it comes to quality and the joy/expression that the country plays with is simply amazing to watch. A dark horse out of "pot 2" I'd say would be Japan right now. Given that it's not going to blow you away with strength and height, the skill must be there. Japan seems to cause problems all the time to different opponents and this could be the year that it makes a deep run. In "pot 3" I'd have to go with Norway. Simply put, Erling Haaland is the best pure striker in the world and his ability to score the ball in the back of the net is pure excellence. Norway completely annihilated every opponent in qualifying including Italy twice leading to an 8-0-0 record. Having said that, these are subject to change. I'm getting very excited for next year's version of the World Cup and will definitely make an updated article once we get closer to action and once the groups are finally announced. I'll go more in depth then.

AAA Sports' Top 5 College Football Playoff (CFP) Contenders

by AAA Sports

Sunday, Nov 23, 2025

The Top Five. Texas A&M The Aggies perfect season almost came to an end in Week 12 as they were down 30-3 at halftime. But, Texas A&M managed to snap out of it and somehow pull off the magical comeback. Still unbeaten, the Aggies will undoubtedly be among the 12 teams that advance to the College Football Playoff *(CFP) as we head into the last week of the regular season. Can they complete the perfect season? They are our current pick to do so because their offense and defense are both among the most talented in the country. This weekend, Texas A&M will travel to play Texas. That fight promises to be terrific. If the Aggies prevail, they will likely face off against one of UGA, Ole Miss or Alabama. They are in the best conference in NCAAFB and might end up as a top three seed going into the bracket.  Odds To Win ~ (+800) Alabama With the exception of the season's opening game, Alabama's season has gone rather smoothly. The loss to Oklahoma in Week 12 wasn't ideal. But, the Crimson Tide will undoubtedly be among the top teams in the playoffs if they are able to beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl. They've got major victories against Vandy, Tennessee and LSU at home in addition to Missouri and Georgia on the road. Alabama ranks in the top 30 for offensive points scored a game and in the top 10 for defensive points allowed a game. This year has gone a lot better for Kalen DeBoer in his second season after taking over for Nick Saban in control of maybe the greatest College Football franchise of all time.  Odds To Win ~ (+1600)GeorgiaGeorgia has won every game since their Week 5 setback to Alabama. Our third SEC team out of three thus far, has won seven games in a row now and might be the hottest team in College Football other than the three remaining undefeated programs. The Bulldogs are seriously well-coached and may just have the finest coach in the league right now. Unlike some of these other top teams this season, they always have a strong defense plus a dependable quarterback who has made it to the postseason. UGA is still battling for a spot in the SEC Championship Game. Still, barring some unlikeliness, it will be in the playoffs even if it fails to make it. Odds To Win ~ (+1000)Ohio State Since their victory against Texas in Week One, Ohio State has maintained its position as the top seed in the AP Poll. Some could argue that the Buckeyes' continued perfect record this season is a result of the lesser competition that they face. Last year's National Championship winning team was so talented, but, managed to lose against Michigan in the final game of the season. Hence, it is not impossible for that to occur once more on Saturday. Also, with having the top defense in CFB this season, the Buckeyes haven't had many opportunities to showcase their offensive prowess. We think that the strength of schedule will end up hurting them, but it's too tough to overlook how good OSU really is and it definitely can go back-to-back.  Odds To Win ~ (+175)OregonWe are going with Oregon instead of Indiana as our final team. We know that the Hoosiers are undefeated and will be ranked above Oregon because of the win against it this season. But, one of both Indiana/Ohio State will end up losing in the Big Ten Championship game -- we think the Hoosiers -- and that will be bad for momentum going into the playoffs. Over the past few weeks, Oregon has looked ridiculously impressive. With the exception of the Indiana game, the Ducks have won every game this season and just crushed USC. When it all comes down to a big game at the end of the year, we think that Oregon is more well suited to come out on top than Indiana. Odds To Win ~ (+1200)
