Refund Policy

Handicapping/Sports Picks Information: 
Except as specified herein, there is a no-refund policy on all purchases made at https://www.bigal.com (Bigal.com). Unlike physical goods, electronically distributed information can be easily consumed or copied. Accordingly, subject to the limited exceptions stated in this paragraph, it is our policy that once we have provided the information to a customer, the sale is final, and the customer may not return information for a partial refund, full refund, or credit. There are four exceptions to our no-refund policy where we will always refund the purchase price of the affected pick: a) if a game is suspended or cancelled; b) if a game is postponed, and the new date of the game is more than four days after the original date of the game; c) if there is a pitching change in a baseball game subsequent to the publication of the pick by the handicapper; and d) if the purchase was made subsequent to the start time of the game. Please note that none of these four exceptions apply to subscription purchases; they are limited to the purchase of individual picks. Additionally, If one of the following situations arise then we will handle each customer inquiry individually, but it may result in a credit for a future pick; partial refund, or substitution of handicapper: a) a handicapper doesn't post football, basketball or baseball plays for a significant period while the customer was subscribed for a term of a week or more; b) line movement that results in a significant difference in the odds from the time of the publication by the handicapper and the purchase by the customer; or c) an unintentional mistake made by a handicapper.

There are no performance guarantees for any of the purchased picks or subscription packages. Refunds will not be provided due to poor predictive performance. We do, however, truly value our customers, and will be happy to work with you if you’re not satisfied with any purchase. Stoppage of Games due to Pandemic: There exists the possibility that a sport may suspend or cancel its season due to a pandemic. If, and when, this happens, all subscriptions will be paused on the date of the suspension or cancellation, and will resume on the date which the sport resumes play. Should a client wish that his subscription resume on a different future date, then he may call Al McMordie at 323-870-7787 or email him at bigal@bigal.com to provide the date for the re-start of the subscription.

Requests for Refund from fraud:
 Requests for refund due to unauthorized transactions or other fraudulent use of your credit/debit card on Bigal.com will be considered on a case-by-case basis. As a courtesy, we will work with your credit card company and investigate any claims of fraudulent transactions. If determined that such transaction(s) were most likely made fraudulently using your credit/debit card, we will refund all transactions immediately. In some cases, we may request proof that steps have been taken to prevent such fraudulent activity in the future, such as, but not limited to, the closure of the credit/debit card account used in the fraudulent transaction(s), or the issuance of a new credit/debit card by your card provider.

In all cases where claims of fraudulent transactions are received, the Bigal.com account(s) used to make any affected purchase will be suspended or cancelled indefinitely, and steps may be taken to prevent a new account to be opened which uses any of the same customer info, or attempts by existing or newly-opened accounts to make additional purchases with the same credit/debit card.

This refund policy is effective from July 1st, 2020.
