But the real story for this total is the starting pitchers, as the Reds are going with Andrew Abbott (1-2, 5.97) and Cubs are sending Jameson Taillon (2-1, 4.41) to the hill. Their ERAs tell me all I need to know for a division rivalry mashup. Look for this one to creep toward 10. ... BIG PLAY ALERT: I hit my big plays last night, on the Knicks (Atlantic Division GOM), Royals (ALC GOM) and UN Chi/LAA (AL TOM). I still rank No. 1 the L7/30 Days, the latter generating $22,350 NET$. Seattle is starting to play much better offensively in my eyes, and it's still got pitching for days. No, the starters haven't been as dominant as you'd expect. But, for the most part, they've all been very solid, just not getting enough run support. For Atlanta, I do like this team a lot. However, despite what his numbers show this season, I'm still not sold on Bryce Elder. I watched this guy get hit around for B2B seasons, pointing ERA's above 5.30 in both seasons. If he continues this pace, props to him. But, I do see it happening. Give me the M's here. Burns' Prediction: 4-2 Mariners.
