(#917) Toronto Blue Jays | ML | . Dylan Cease (11-5, 2.38 ERA) vs. Kumar Rocker (5-11, 4.54 ERA) . Toronto remains in striking distance even with yesterday's results (CWS win.) The Blue Jays have to win these types of games though with their ace on the mound. Dylan Cease has been unbelievable and was the starter for the AL in the All-Star Game this year. He's going to be key in this game and I like him to have a great performance. Kumar Rocker gets the nod for the Rangers. Although he impresses at times, he hasn't proven to be a very capable/reliable starting arm this season with his poor record and inflated ERA. The Jays are slightly favored for good reasoning on Friday. Hammer the Jays. Burns' Prediction: 6-3 Blue Jays.MLB - Moneyline - Fri, Sep 18 @ 08:10 PM
Atlanta Braves (Tyler Mahle) vs Houston Astros (Peter Lambert)
Atlanta Braves -120 (BetMGM)
Take Atlanta Atlanta is the side pick because the Braves possess the strongest advantages in the areas that should matter most Friday. They have the better overall record, the superior team ERA and the more favorable confirmed starting-pitching matchup. Atlanta's starter enters with a 2.18 ERA a...
Take Atlanta Atlanta is the side pick because the Braves possess the strongest advantages in the areas that should matter most Friday. They have the better overall record, the superior team ERA and the more favorable confirmed starting-pitching matchup. Atlanta's starter enters with a 2.18 ERA and 0.99 WHIP compared with Houston's starter at 3.71 and 1.22, respectively. Houston also comes in having lost four of five while scoring only 11 runs during that stretch. Atlanta's 38-37 road record prevents this from being an automatic play at any price; the Braves are the preferred moneyline side at a reasonable number.MLB - Moneyline - Fri, Sep 18 @ 08:15 PM

Cade Cavalli is starting for the Nationals in this game and he is 12-5 with a 3.12 ERA this season. He has been very good recently as he has allowed 2 earned runs or less in each of his last 6 starts and he has not allowed a run in 3 of those starts as well. He has allowed 2 earned runs or less in his last 7 straight road starts as well and he is also 0-0 with a 1.93 ERA against the Cardinals in his career. Kyle Leahy is starting for the Cardinals in this game and he is 10-4 with a 3.33 ERA this season. He has been very good in his recent starts, but recently he has struggled to go deep as he has not pitched more than 3 innings in each of his last 3 starts and he has allowed 5 earned runs total in less than 6 innings pitched his last 2 starts. He is also 0-0 with a 7.71 ERA in 2 career appearances against the Nationals, so this is a great spot for the Nats to bounce back after losing their last game at home to the Phillies 3-0, the Nats winning 4 of their last 5 games now. The Nationals will win this game.Get Free Picks, Big Game alerts, and Winning Info from our champion handicappers.
