I was going to like the Mariners to win tonight whatever happened in the opening game of the series yesterday. Seattle is starting to play much better offensively in my eyes, and it's still got pitching for days. No, the starters haven't been as dominant as you'd expect. But, for the most part, they've all been very solid, just not getting enough run support. For Atlanta, I do like this team a lot. However, despite what his numbers show this season, I'm still not sold on Bryce Elder. I watched this guy get hit around for B2B seasons, pointing ERA's above 5.30 in both seasons. If he continues this pace, props to him. But, I do see it happening. Give me the M's here. Burns' Prediction: 4-2 Mariners.
