Yet to make a start this season, Brandon Woodruff returning to the mound might just be exactly what the Brewers need. They are likely to take this outing cautious for Woodruff, as it's his first since 2023. But, just having him on the bump should give this organization a real sense of urgency. They need to start winning more to be able to catch the Cubs. Let's not forget that Woodruff had a 5-1 record & 2.28 ERA (0.82 WHIP) in his last season in the MLB. He's an absolute stud. On the other hand, Miami is scorching hot at the moment having won 10 of its past 12 games. I don't think that this run will last too long though as I simply don't see the talent on this roster that other teams possess. Expect Milwaukee to rebound after losing yesterday on Sunday.
