- The Blue Bombers are coming into this game with a 3-0 record this season and they have played very well in their 3 games with all 3 wins coming by 13+ points. They have been dominant in all 3 of their wins, but they have also played against some of the weaker teams in the league as well. They are coming off of a win against the Elks at home in their last game who were one of the worst teams in the league last year, and their other 2 wins both came against the BC Lions. They have also played just 1 road game this year which was a 27-14 win against the Lions, but the Lions were also playing their 1st game without their starting QB. They are going up against a Stampeders team that is 2-1 this season and they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home after losing their last game to the Redblacks 20-12 in a game where the weather played a big factor. They played great in their other 2 games though, beating the Ticats at home 38-26 and beating the Argos on the road 29-19. Their offense has been very good as they have scored 29+ points in 2 of their 3 games so they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home after putting up 12 points in their last game, and they are also coming off of a bye week so they are going to be more preapred for this game. The Blue Bombers have been a model of consistency in the CFL over the years as they are always good and have made it to 4 straight Grey Cups now, but as good as they have been over the years, they are only 2-1 straight up against the Stampeders on the road over the last 2 seasons and 1 of those wins was a very close game by 1 point in a year where the Stampeders were not very good. The Stampeders always play the Blue Bombers tough and they are going to get up for this game at home. They have also been very good running the ball this season so that will help them attack this defense through the air as well. The Stampeders will cover the spread in this game.
