Ben Brown (3-3, 5.72 ERA) vs. Tarik Skubal (5-2, 2.26 ERA) .
While this is a massive favorite selection, I believe that it's very much worth it to put on your Friday's card. Chicago's Ben Brown is not having much success in his second year in the big leagues. Despite him having a great outing in his most recent one, Brown's numbers are quite bad. He's back on the road where he owns a 5.88 ERA which is worse than his home ERA.
On the other hand, Skubal has become the highest standard of pitching in the American League. He's consistently dominant and has allowed only four hits over his past two starts, while throwing 16 innings of shutout baseball. I expect more of the same as he continues his dominant form on Friday evening.
