As some of you may recall, I had Djokovic as my biggest selection of the Australian Open against Zverev. While it may have lost, the game wasn't finished and it was due to an injury by Novak. This time around, I'm back on who I believe to be the stronger player. Djokovic has been dominant through the first four rounds and has yet to drop a single set. That being said, he should be fresher than most here in France.
Don't get me wrong, Alexander Zverev is a fantastic player who's got the skills to beat nearly anyone on tour. However, this is a spot where the "greatest of all time" will simply be too much to handle for the German in this Quarterfinal matchup this evening. Novak still has got a long way to get to win this tournament, even if he were to win this match as he'd likely face Sinner than Carlos. But, if anyone can do it, he can. Expect Djokovic to prevail on Wednesday.
Burns' Prediction: 6-4, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 Djokovic.
