Yesterday’s Results for Detroit Tigers vs Chicago White Sox

Analysis: (#961) Detroit Tigers @ (#962) Chicago White Sox // UNDER //. Jack Flaherty (3-6, 3.94 ERA) vs. Jonathan Cannon (2-6, 4.15 ERA) . Although neither of these two pitchers have what you'd call great numbers this season, I believe that this is an excellent matchup for both of these starters in Monday's series opener. Detroit will turn to Jack Flaherty who's been much better than his record suggests. He's coming off an absolute gem allowing only two base hits against the Giants and picking up the win (no runs.) He's also been lights out against the White Sox in the past as he owns a 2-1 record and 2.57 ERA in four appearances vs. CWS. Especially dominant lately allowing only three runs in the past three against them. On the other hand, Jonathan Cannon has actually been much better than his record shows as well. He owns a ridiculously good 1.17 ERA in three outings at home this year and will be excited to be back here after four consecutive road starts. I believe that he'll be able to limit Tiger runs to a minimum here this evening. With me expecting great pitching performances, I believe that this o/u line is simply too high and therefore it's my DIV. GAME OF THE YEAR. Burns' Prediction: 4-2 Tigers.
