- The Pacers are coming into this game with a 3-1 series lead and they have been dominant in the playoffs this year. They won their 1st round series against the Bucks 4-1, beat the number 1 seed in the East in the last round with a 4-1 series win over the Cavaliers, and now they have a chance to do the same to the Knicks here. The Knicks won their only game in this series in game 3, but they did not even play that well in that game. They were trailing by 20+ points in the 1st half and came all the way back in the 2nd half to win, but then they followed that win up with a 130-121 loss in their last game. Now they are going back home with their backs against the wall as they are facing elimination, but they have already lost both home games to the Pacers in this series. This is also the 1st time in these playoffs that the Knicks will be facing elimination so they have not had to dig deep in one of these situations yet and they are going up against a Pacers team that has closed out both of their series in these playoffs in the 1st game that they were able to. The Pacers also have a much better offense that has scored 130+ points in 2 of the 4 games in this series, and the Knicks have struggled to keep up with the way the Pacers shoot the ball. The Pacers have not been down and out in any of the games in this series except for game 1 when they were trailing by 14 points late, and they still managed to win that game as well. The Pacers will cover the spread in this game.
