Analysis
The Nuggets are coming into this game with the series tied 2-2 and they are coming off of a loss in their last game. They are coming off of a 92-87 loss at home in their last game after winning the 3rd game in this series at home in OT, and they were able to keep both home games in this series very close. They split the 2 road games to start this series, but they have struggled a lot more in those road games. They were very fortunate to come away with a win in game 1 as they were trailing by 10+ points for most of that game and did not make their comeback until there was less than 5 mins left in the game. They found a way to come back and win that game against a young and inexperienced playoff team, but the Thunder bounced back in the next game at home by following up with a dominant 43 point win. That was a dominant game for the Thunder and even though they did go on the road and lose in OT the next game, they were actually leading a lot of that game on the road and they have played like the better team in this series so far. The Nuggets have struggled a lot more on offense in their recent games as well, scoring no more than 106 regulation points in each of their last 3 games, and that is not going to be enough to beat a team like the Thunder. The Nuggets also played a very tough and physical 7 game series against the Clippers in the last round so they are starting to feel the fatigue of these longer series while the Thunder have the younger legs to lean on and are coming off of a series sweep in the last round. The Thunder have also been much better at home in the playoffs as they have won 3 of their 4 games there by 19+ points. The Thunder also have no problem leaving Denver as they played 2 games in Denver during the regular season and won their very next game after both of those, playing both games just 2 days later and winning both of those by 19 points. The Thunder will cover the spread in this game.
