Analysis: The Texas Rangers have followed a three-game losing skid with a three-game win streak, and will continue their winning ways against a Colorado Rockies team that isn't all that good away from Denver. Sitting in last place in the National League West, the Rockies are 2-18 away from home and a miserable 3-23 against teams with a record above .500. The Rangers are right at .500, with a 21-21 mark, but in this case, they might as well be above .500 in this matchup, as they're that much better. Texas is two games off the pace in third place in the American League West, and boast a 13-8 mark at home. And five of those eight losses came against the two teams above them in the division, Seattle and the Athletics. The Rangers' pitching staff has allowed just seven runs in the team's last four games for a 1.80 ERA, while it's allowed two or fewer runs in six of the last nine games. Now you factor in a Colorado team that has a road ERA of 5.16 and the league's lowest road batting average of .189, and you can see why this one is a no-brainer and how the Rangers should win this one big.
