Analysis: This is a play on the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS as part of our MLB Tuesday Triple Play. Arizona opened the series with a 2-1 win on Monday to get to two games over .500 but has not won consecutive games since May 1. Brandon Pfaadt is coming off another solid start as he did not allow a run over 6.1 innings against the Dodgers and that is a huge factor in setting this line. He now has a 3.28 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in eight starts but he is pitching to a 5.56 xERA and while the start against Los Angeles was impressive it was at home where he has a 1.78 ERA and 1.12 WHIP in five starts but on the road, he has a 6.06 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in three outings and the Giants are 22-9 against right-handed starters. San Francisco has now lost four straight games and comes in as a slight underdog which could change so get it early if possible. Robbie Ray is eight starts in and it has been a very successful beginning as he has a 2.84 ERA and 1.20 WHIP while allowing more than three runs only once. He has limited the damage despite issuing 23 walks over 44.3 innings. He has a 3.55 xERA which is a bit of a jump but still positive and he too has significant splits with a 1.80 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in four home starts compared to a 4.19 ERA and 1.34 WHIP in four road outings. 10* (960) San Francisco Giants
