Shane Baz (3-2, 4.93 ERA) vs. Jose Berrios (1-1, 3.86 ERA) .
Despite the poor performances from Baz in his most recent outings, I believe that he's in for a rebound game here against the Blue Jay. Baz still owns a winning record that should give him a bit of confidence for this start. I also don't believe that the Jays can continue this hot hitting as they have been recently. Baz owns a 2-0 record and a 2.12 ERA in three outings against Toronto as well.
On the other hand, Jose Berrios has quietly been very solid for the Blue Jays. He's been consistently strong and has given up only four earned runs over his past three appearances. Berrios has been one of the top pitchers for the Jays since they signed him and I believe that he will stay strong today.
All in all, the pitchers should come to play on Tuesday. I don't believe that either team has a loaded hitting lineup and therefore the two guys on the mound should steal the show. Expect a low scoring contest in this AL East matchup on Tues.
Score Prediction: 3-2 Rays.
