Coco Gauff really made her Semi-Final matchup against #2 Iga Swiatek look easy. A crushing 6-1, 6-1 win against the world number two is simply unheard of, especially on this surface (Swiatek's favorite.) Now, even though Coco had great success on Thursday, she didn't have to do as much as she normally does in matches. It was mostly unforced errors and poor hitting from the former #1. Not taking anything away from Gauff, who's had an unbelievable run in Madrid so far. But, this should be a much more difficult match for the American. Sabalenka won her Semi-Final match 6-3, 7-5 against a surging Svitolina who had been on a nine game heater prior to that match. Sabalenka is the top Women's player in the world for a reason right now and I expect her to get the job done here at another WTA 1000 event. Get ready for a big time matchup with Sabalenka coming out on top once again.
