- Our 20* NBA Sunday Night Vegas Jackpot is on Indiana plus the points versus Milwaukee at 9:35 pm et
The Indiana Pacers took the first two games of this series, yet they could not match the Bucks' intensity in Game 3 which ended in a 117-101 loss in Milwaukee. The Pacers only shot 43.3% from the field in the loss which was the worst shooting effort for them in this series. It’s time for head coach Rick Carlisle to make some adjustments on defense. He only had Myles Turner on the floor for 24 minutes on Friday, and he only scored six points on 1 of 9 shooting. He missed all six of his shots from 3-point range yet should play better tonight. Indiana has covered the point spread in six of their last nine games when avenging a loss to their opponent. They have covered the point spread in four of their last five games after losing to a division opponent. The Pacers have covered the point spread in six of their last eight games on the road against opponents who are winning 51% to 60% of their games.
Consistency has been one of the problems holding Milwaukee back this season. They have covered the point spread in just two of their last nine games after beating a division opponent in their previous game. They have covered the point spread only once in their last five games after beating a division opponent at home. Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a great series as he is averaging 35.7 points per game and 14 rebounds per game after three games. Yet he is not getting enough help from his teammates and Damian Lillard is struggling to regain his form after returning from the blood clot issue that kept him out for an extended period of time. He only scored 7 points on Friday while missing 10 of his 12 shots and only making one of his eight shots from 3-point range. In his two games since returning from his absence, he is averaging only 10.5 points per game on 24% shooting and an 18.8% mark from 3-point range. This Game 4 should be a close game that the Pacers will have the opportunity to win. Play Indiana plus the points.
Good luck - Team Del Genio.
