Analysis: The Knicks are coming into this game with a 2-1 series lead and they are coming off of a 118-116 win against the Pistons in game 3. The Knicks were able to keep a lead for a majority of that game, but the Pistons were never out of the game as the Knicks could not really pull away and seal the game. The Pistons have been right in each game with the Knicks in this series and they were also very good against the Knicks during the regular season. When they were on the road in the first 2 games of this series, they came out very strong and led the 1st game for 3 quarters before blowing it in the 4th, but they bounced back in game 2 with a better game and held their lead for the win. Now they are in a similar situation as they lost a very close game 3 at home and they are going to get up for this game with a response at home. They got their 1st playoff win in this series in over 15 years, but that win came on the road and the team will be motivated to bounce back with a home win and give the fans something to cheer about. This is also a more desperate spot for the Pistons as they do not want to go back to New York facing elimination so they are going to come out very strong here as the hungrier team. The Pistons have played the Knicks tough all season and they will find a way to win this game at home and even up the series. The Pistons will cover the spread in this game.
