Yesterday’s Results for DC Defenders vs Arlington Renegades

Analysis: If you’re a UFL football fan, this is the game you’ve been waiting to see. It would have had a little bit more flair if the DC Defenders managed to avoid being upset by the San Antonio Brahmas and entered undefeated. But at 3-1 with the league’s most potent offense, they still prevent a strong challenge to six of the seven other teams in the league. As many yards as Jordan Ta’amu and the Defenders rack up, I strongly believe they’ll be met with a rude awakening today when they play the suffocating Arlington Renegades defense. The Renegades only gave up 15 points in a win against the St. Louis Battlehawks last weekend, and that was an off night compared to their other outings this season. That was the most points they allowed in any of their four games so far, and just the second time they’ve even allowed double digits in scoring this season. Even in their lone loss to Michigan, the Renegades held the Panthers to 10 points. Despite being 3-1 with the most offensive yards in the league, the Defenders have only managed to score more than 20 points once this season, and they’ve had arguably the easiest schedule in the league. Expect a statement performance out of Arlington today.
