Yesterday’s Results for Milwaukee Brewers vs San Francisco Giants

Analysis: At 9:45 pm, our selection is on the San Francisco Giants over the Milwaukee Brewers. When Robbie Ray was traded from the Mariners to the Giants before the 2024 season, he made San Francisco his fifth MLB team in 11 seasons. The veteran southpaw is surely happy to be back with the Giants again in 2025 and he still has two seasons left (including this one) on the contract he signed while in Seattle. Perhaps the gaudy strikeout numbers are a thing of the past, but the 33-year-old is showing that he can still be an effective starter and most importantly -- he appears to finally be healthy. And Ray has to love the run support he's been getting from his team as the Giants have plated a total of 30 runs in his four starts which is the main reason they are 4-0 in those outings, although Ray has shown flashes of his old self in some of his trips to the mound. He couldn't have hand-picked a better opponent for start No. 5 as Ray is 3-1 with a 1.85 ERA in four career regular season starts vs. the Brewers (and hasn't allowed a run in his last three vs. them).
