Analysis: This is a play on the SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS for our MLB Saturday Afternoon Sweet Spot. The Yankees will be a favorite public bet on Saturday following a 9-1 rain-shortened loss on Friday and after closing -111 with Marcus Stroman on the hill, they are much bigger favorites today despite what they bring to the mound. It has been a disappointing run for New York as it has lost four of five games and sending Will Warren out for his third start should not instill a lot of confidence. He has struggled ever since hitting the rotation last July as he has a 9.09 ERA and 1.74 WHIP in seven starts and one relief appearance. His first outing at home against Arizona was not bad as he allowed only two runs on one hit and four walks but still could not get the win and the Yankees are now 0-4 in his four home starts, losing 8.1 units. The Giants were shut out against Cincinnati twice but came back with eight runs on Wednesday and put up another nine runs last night in just six innings to improve to 10-3 and this offense can keep it going. Jordan Hicks is off to a solid start with a 2.38 ERA and 0.88 WHIP through two starts and is coming off his first season with the Giants that had promise with a 2.82 ERA through 15 starts before some struggles and an eventual shutdown in July while coming into this spring reportedly in the best shape of his career. 10* (925) San Francisco Giants
