- We like the Memphis Grizzlies to defeat the New York Knicks on Monday at 7:40pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Memphis has won six straight games and shouldn't be content. Another win here would be huge.
The Grizzlies are 11-0 versus the spread over their L11 games played against teams from the Eastern Conference.
The Grizzlies also have a lot more depth than the Knicks and that should cause problems for the Knicks in what we think will be a very physical game.
New York has looked quality for most of this season as well. But, the Knicks aren't so good at covering the spread.
They are only 2-8 against the spread over their L10 games played against opponents from the Southwest Division in the Western Conference.
