Analysis
The Cavaliers are coming into this game with a 48-34 record this season and they are leading this series 2-0 after dominating the Magic in the first 2 games. The Cavaliers won both games by 10+ points and their defense was great in both games as the Magic did not score more than 86 points in either game. The Magic were a much better team at home this season at 29-12, but they still have a young inexperienced team and this is not a series that is going to last very long for them. The Magic know they need to win this game to avoid going into a 3-0 hole, but the Cavaliers are going to have the same mindset coming into this game after what happened to them last season. They are not going to allow themselves to get eliminated in the 1st round and they have been given a gift with this young Magic team in the 1st round. The Cavaliers are going to come out strong in this game so they can take a lead again and play their defensive game that the Magic have really had no answer for in the first 2 games. Donovan Mitchell was not happy with his team after game 2 either as they started to blow their 20 point lead in the 2nd half so he is going to have his team ready right from the start here and ensure they do not take their foot off the gas here. Jalen Suggs is going to play in this game for the Magic which is big since he is one of their better defensive players, but he also picked up an injury in the last game and will not be at 100% here. He is going to struggle to shut down this Cavaliers offense while the Cavaliers shut the Magic down once again. Prior to this series, the Magic won the last regular season meeting between these two in Cleveland, but that was a game Donovan Mitchell did not play in. The Cavaliers actually won the last meeting between these two in Orlando 126-99 and that was a game that Mitchell played in. Mitchell has been the x-factor for the Cavaliers against the Magic this season and as long as he is playing in this game, the Magic are not going to win. The Cavaliers will cover the spread in this game.
