- The Magic are coming into this game after losing game 1 in this series 97-83. They have now lost 4 of their last 5 games with most of those losses coming on the road as well. They have actually lost their last 5 straight on the road and they have been much worse on the road this season as they were 18-23 with a losing road record. They are going up against a Cavaliers team that has been great at home this season as they are 26-15 there. They have also won 3 of their last 4 games as they were playing much better than the Magic were to end the season. The Cavaliers dominated the Magic in game 1 from start to finish as the Magic never really took a lead in the game. Donovan Mitchell carried the team with 30 points in that game, but it was their defense that really dominated to win that 1st game. They held the Magic to just 83 points and their shooting was awful in the game as well. This game is going to be no different as the Cavaliers will lean on that great defense to win this game again and the Magic have been a very different team on the road this season as they have struggled a lot more. The Cavaliers are also playing with that series against the Knicks from last season on their shoulders so they are not going to rest here with a chance to go up 2-0 in the series at home. Mitchell is going to be too much for the Magic once again and the inexperience of the Magic will show again in this game as the Cavaliers take a 2-0 series lead here. The Cavaliers will cover the spread in this game.
