Analysis: Gold Standard on Orlando The Magic, to their credit, played a pretty competitive game in the series opener. They just couldn't seem to hit the ocean if they were standing in a boat. As strong as the Magic's defense has been this season, we shouldn't expect to see Cleveland shoot around 45% from the floor and with the Magic also being able to force turnovers at a high rate, the carelessness with the basketball could haunt the Cavs here. Even with Cleveland shooting around 45% from the floor in game one, they were still unable to cross the century mark. Neither of these teams is looking to push the pace and they have both leaned on the bulwark their respective defense is. Orlando leads the league in opponent shot attempts per game and Cleveland sits 6th in opponent made baskets per contest. This, coupled with offenses that are in the bottom half of the league in 3-point attempts points to another low scoring affair. After a somewhat giddy performance in game one, look for Orlando to try to slow it down even more here to run offensive sets that create high probability shots and keep this game close till the final buzzer. Orlando has continued to get to the line at a high rate and that should help their offense find their footing.
