The St Louis will get that must needed win today. A good pitcher is going to limit what a strong lineup can do at the plate and that is what Lance Lynn will do against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The St. Louis Cardinals are going to be having veteran right-hander Lance Lynn and he has gotten off to a solid start. In four starts thus far, he is 1-0 with a 2.18 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP in 20.2 innings of work. Hitters are not doing too well against him as hitters have a .222 batting average against Lance Lynn this year. The ability to pitch in the later innings shows the ability to pick up wins. When looking at the bullpens, the Cardinals are 11th with a 3.51 reliever ERA while the Diamondbacks are 17th in baseball with a 4.03 bullpen ERA. Lance Lynn has been pitching at a great level while we do not see Brandon Pfaadt doing too well throughout the beginning stages of the season.
