Analysis: 10-Unit Play Take Philadelphia -5 over Miami (7 p.m. EST, Wednesday April 17) Joel Embiid was out for a big chunk of the season, and that is why the Sixers are in this spot. But he is back, and the Sixers have been playing at a championship level recently. They have covered 10 straight and 12 of 13, and they enter this Play In matchup on an eight-game winning streak. One of those games was in Miami earlier this month, where they dispatched of the Heat. We think that with the playoffs on the line that we will see an even better performance. There is no denying what the Heat have done in the postseason the last two seasons. But their luck because of a lack of regular season wins will eventually come back to haunt them, and we think this is the season. We don't see them as a serious championship threat, but Philly is one of four teams in the East that we think has a legitimate chance. They will stake their case to their rightful spot in the postseason tonight, and Miami will get one more chance against the winner of Hawks/Bulls.
