- The Angels are coming into this game not playing very well recently as they have lost their last 2 straight to the Astros as well as losing 3 of their last 4 games. They are going up against an Astros team that has been starting to catch fire recently as they have won 3 of their last 4 as well as 6 of their last 8 games. Their pitching has been great all season and they have not allowed more than 2 runs in either game of this series against the Angels, but now their offense has been waking up with at least 5 runs scored in both games. He has been very good all year as he has not allowed many runs in his starts and has only allowed 1 earned run in each of his last 3 starts. He only allowed 2 earned runs in 6 innings when he faced the Angels earlier this season and he also had a season high 11 strikeouts in that game. He has been one of the best starters in the rotation for the Astros over the last 2 years and he is going to continue dealing in this game like he has been doing all season.
