Analysis
The Texas Rangers continue to hold onto first place in the AL West division, 2.5-games ahead of the Astros. Right now it looks to be a two-team Texas races for the division as the Mariners are 7.5-games back. Texas has won seven of their last 10 games. The Mariners could cut into the Rangers lead, but it will be a tall order on the road. The M's lost game one of this series on Friday, 0-2. Seattle has now received three total runs of support for their pitchers in their last three games. The Mariners have promoted their No 6 prospect, Bryan Woo, to start today's game in place of the injured Marco Gonzales. Woo comes up from Double-A to get the start today. Not a lot has been seen from Woo on the pro level, but he was a college standout before Tommy John surgery. Woo might be the real deal, but I'm taking first place Texas here in game two. Play the Rangers.
