Analysis: Root Reserve on Toronto With both teams eyeing playoff spots, this should be a competitive series and an entertaining game on Saturday. I like Toronto to win the game. The Blue Jays' offense has been more consistent from top to bottom this season, and they have plenty of thunder in the middle of the order to go toe-to-toe with Pete Alonso. The difference maker to me in this game is going to be Jose Berrios. He's had an up-and-down couple of years, but he's found his groove lately with two dominant road starts the last two times he's taken the mound. Berrios hasn't faced many of the current Mets players in his career, but he has had success against Mark Canha, who has been hot recently for New York. Canha is just 2-for-14 (.143) lifetime against Berrios. The Mets have actually been one of the worst teams in baseball against the run line at just 22-35. Tylor Megill has a tall task ahead of him, considering his WHIP is nearly 1.60 and he's going up against one of the best hitting teams in baseball. The Blue Jays know how to get on base, and they have the guys in the middle of the order to drive them against a pitcher like Megill.
