An NBA interconference matchup. It is not close to even. The Western Conference 2nd place Kings are loaded with talent and play as a team. They compliment each other’s offensive skills and defend each other’s weak sides on a defensive rotation. They are a really good team that is flying under the radar because of the name on the front of the jersey. The Kings have been doormats in the NBA for 18 consecutive seasons.. This season it all tied together behind the strength of C Domantas Sabonis and PG De'Aaron Fox (whose Dad has clearly won the argument with Lonzo Ball’s Dad from draft night 5 seasons ago). The Kings are good and overlooked. The Washington Wizards are not good. It doesn’t seem to matter that they still have Bradley Beal, they have Kristaps Porziingis, and Kyle Kuzma plays well for them… they struggle to get wins. They don't compliment each other offensively… and on the defensive end they have their own man.. And could care less about their teammates on rotations. The Wizards ultimately failed when they decided to hold onto Bradley Beal 3 seasons ago when his value was through the roof! They could have had a similar haul of players and picks as the Thunder got for Paul George… Now Bradley’s trade value will never again be half of that. The great betting opportunity here is in deciding how many points we should expect the Kings to cover while they get this easy win?
The Sacramento Kings have won 8 of their last 10 games and are cruising to a very high playoff seed. They went 7-3 ATS during that stretch. They won their last game against the Brooklyn Nets 101-96 (as predicted here) for a win over the 3 point spread. In the win they got 24 points, 21 REBOUNDS, and 5 assists from C Domantas Sabonis, 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists from PG De’Aaron Fox, and spread the ball around as 5 other Kings scored in double digits. Murray, Monk, Barnes, Edwards, and Lyles all got 10-12 points each! Team ball.
The Washington Wizards have realized a little too late that they will need a top-three pick in the coming draft to improve for next season.. Hopefully they get a lucky bounce. The Wizards have won 4 of their last 10 games. They went 4-6 ATS during the stretch. They lost their last game 117-94 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the loss they got 22 points from SG Bradley Beal (remember when this was 30 points on a given night?), 20 points & 9 rebounds from PF Kristaps Porzingis. Someday soon an NBA team will be able to figure out what to do with Kristaps, but he may only work if he is earning Half or less of his current salary.. Because he is just not consistent. He has a player option for 36 million next season and is an UFA after that. He should pick up that option.

Wizards: SG Bradley Beal. Bradley is the real deal in pro basketball.. A massive talent.. But it is becoming increasingly clear that he is on the downslope of his career. He is capable of big nights still but the monster nights he used to have are a thing of the past.
