The Cardinals earned a 17-10 home win as a six-point favorite in the first meeting between the teams this season back on October 10. Today’s line has moved and the 49ers are -3 and set for revenge. Last week, Arizona turned the ball over three times while failing to record a takeaway so the turnover battle is starting to even out for them. Kyler Murray (ankle) and DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) are both game-time decisions here while AJ Green is on the COVID-19 list and has been ruled out. That could really affect the Cardinals’ offense: Colt McCoy would be under center if Murray is out. Normally, you’d look at the records and write this one as a possible Cardinals bet. The problem here is that there is a lot of uncertainty in the Arizona offense. Green is out while Murray and Hopkins are both game-time decisions here, which could really swing the pendulum one way or the other. Either way, they have had limited practice this week. We’ve seen the line move accordingly as Arizona was originally favored by 3. It’s important to note that, while Arizona won the first meeting, they prevailed by just a touchdown in a game where Lance was under center instead of Garoppolo. Now, Garoppolo is back and more importantly, so are Gould and Kittle, making things a lot more cohesive for the 49ers’ offense.
