The Cougars are looking to add on another win at home and should prevail with their passing game. The offense is scoring 36.3 points per game and Clayton Tune is having a great season under center with 1427 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. And talking about a balanced attack for Houston, the run game has been led by Alton McCaskill who has 463 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. This is a high total (62) and it's easy to think the upcoming game will be a low-scoring one with both defenses playing well. However, the Cougars and Mustangs are led by their offenses and should pile on the points as a result. The Houston Cougars should find the end zone multiple times with Clayton Tune finding open receivers downfield while Christian Trahan and Jeremy Singleton gash the SMU Mustangs defense on the ground. With both teams playing well the home team should dominate as this game has been targeted since the schedule came out.
