Analysis: I'm playing TEXAS on the run-line (+1.5 runs) With the Angels favored on the moneyline, we're able to get an extra +1.5 runs with Texas at a reasonable price. While we may not need those extra runs, they could also prove invaluable. The Rangers are going to be motivated to get rookie Glenn Otto his first win. They couldn't avoid losing 100 games but they don't want to make it 101. Otto's numbers aren't good but he was relatively solid last time out and deserved a better fate. He noted: "I'd like to think I'm progressing pretty well." Admittedly, Cobb has pitched pretty well for the Angels. However, a closer look shows that he's been much better at home. His 4.99 ERA (1.487 WHIP) on the road is certainly nothing special. Two of Cobb's last three starts were decided by a single run. He lasted only two innings, while giving up six hits and three runs, in a game here earlier. That 4/28 game was also decided by a single run. Expect AT LEAST another "run line cover" from the Rangers. here.
