- This is a play on the ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. Chris Sale comes in as a big favorite which is no surprise as he is having an outstanding season with a 2.20 ERA and 1.02 WHIP and he has been even better at home but he is a fade here. While he has been great, the Braves just are not winning for him as after going 6-1 in his first seven starts, they are 7-7 in his last 14 and at his prices, that is a big negative outcome. Another reason for fading the Braves is that Brandon Pfaadt has been even better. After a rough start, he was sent down to the minors and was recalled in late June only to dominate. He has not allowed an earned run in 25.2 innings which includes seven scoreless innings against the Dodgers last time out and since being recalled, he has not allowed more than two runs in eight starts, posting a 1.32 ERA. 10* (957) Arizona Diamondbacks
