- This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS as part of our Sunday Double Play. The Royals look to take the series on Sunday following a 6-3 win on Saturday and this would mark their fifth straight home series win. They are back to .500 at home and catching a value number with Randy Dobnak who is far from a household name but has turned some heads. He made his Royal debut on July 2, making two relief appearances before allowing two runs and 15 hits across 21.1 innings in four starts with the Royals winning three of those, the only loss coming in Detroit 4-3 against Troy Melton. The Cubs meanwhile will be looking for their eighth consecutive road series win and are heavily favored to do so behind Matthew Boyd who continues to defy age.
