Even though we saw PSV fall short on Saturday, the new beginning for the top teams in the Eredivisie begins now & I expect Feyenoord to take full advantage of that on Sunday morning. On the road, this could end up being a slight test for The Pride Of The South. However, given that Feyenoord finished second last year, paired with a 4-0 record over its four friendly games, I expect a strong start for it today.
Sparta Rotterdam finished mid-table last year with room for improvement. While there's definitely the possibility of that happening, I don't think that it'll be able to begin the season too well. It had real trouble over its friendly matches and that level of play is not going to sustain itself here on Sunday. Go with the favorites.
