- Our selection is on the Washington Commanders to defeat the Miami Dolphins on Friday at 7:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:
Miami is not only anticipated to finish dead last in the AFC East this season. But, also dead last in the AFC.
The Dolphins do have a young QB in Quinn Ewers with some talent. But, he's not going to play the whole game.
On defense they are very thin at almost every position. These non-starters are going to try and prove themselves. But, it's going to be hard.
Washington should have Sam Hartman and rookie Athan Kaliakmanis handle the snaps for the most part.
The Commanders have a heavily upgraded front seven with new faces like Odafe Oweh and Sonny Styles looking to make an impact (Styles should get some time if not for both).
We think that WSH's rookie class is significantly stronger and the young core will do great things at home in the opener.
