- France is coming into this match playing in great form recently and they have been trending to the over a lot in these. They have won 6 of their last 7 matches and they have seen 4+ goals total in 3 of their last 4 as well as 6 of their last 8 matches. They have not scored that early in a lot of these matches and they are coming off of a 3-1 win against Senegal in their 1st match of this tournament which was 0-0 at halftime, but they are also playing against a much weaker opponent here and they should be able to jump on them early. They are going up against an Iraq side that has not been in great form recently and they have been allowing a lot of goals as well. They have lost their last 2 straight matches with no wins in their last 3 straight and they have allowed 6 goals total in their last 2 matches alone. They are coming off of a 4-1 loss against Norway in their 1st match of this tournament and they were down 2-1 by halftime. They were dominated in that match and could not keep Norway's attack out of their net, so this match will be no different now that they are facing a much stronger attack.
