Both teams won their respective opening games at the World Cup. Even though I was impressed at times with the Austrian team in that 3-1 win over Jordan, the performance wasn't anything special. It's going to need a much better performance on Monday afternoon to knock off the reigning/defending WC champions from 2018.
Leo Messi delivered an absolute masterclass in Argentina's opener, as it beat Algeria 3-0. Scoring all three goals, Messi tied the record for the most goals ever in World Cup history. You just know that he's going to want to put on another show for the fans in this one. Give me Argentina on Monday.
