- The A's are coming off a high-scoring week in red-hot, high-altitude Las Vegas. Sunday's game looked like it finally caught up with them, as they appeared worn down in a 23-9 loss to the Rockies, with temperatures reaching as high as 105 degrees during the game. The Athletics' bullpen, which hasn't exactly been a strength to begin with, was heavily taxed throughout the week. Meanwhile, A's starter JT Ginn has posted some rough numbers in Sacramento, including a 4.70 ERA while allowing 50 baserunners in just 30.2 innings.
