Analysis: This is a play on the WASHINGTON NATIONALS as part of our MLB Late Double Play. Cleveland had a seven-game winning streak snapped on Saturday as it was shut down by Zack Wheeler and the Phillies bullpen before bouncing back on Sunday behind another strong performance from Parker Messick. The Guardians send Tanner Bibee who has had arguably the worst luck in baseball as he has a 3.75 ERA through 11 starts yet has not logged a win and the Guardians finally won a game he pitched last time out, a 3-2 extra innings win over Detroit, after losing his first 10 outings. He will get that win eventually but this is not a good spot. Washington came away with a 2-1 win over the Braves in a game that was delayed twice and the Nationals are back to .500.
