Analysis: At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Anaheim Ducks over the San Jose Sharks. For five seasons -- between 2012-13 and 2016-17 -- the Anaheim Ducks finished first in their division. They haven't returned to the mountaintop since, but they're well on their way, holding down first place in the Pacific with eight regular season games to go. They never made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in those five seasons and that's something they'd like to remedy this spring. After tonight's game, Anaheim's next four are at home against teams with losing records, including the final match-up with the Sharks. But tonight they have to win in San Jose, something that's not always easy. Despite having perhaps the best young player in the world on their squad the Sharks are on the outside-looking-in at the Playoff seeds. For as talented as 19-year-old Macklin Celebrini is (101 points in 72 games) he can't do everything and San Jose simply hasn't put a good enough team around him.
