Analysis: My selection is on the 'over' between Minnesota and Oklahoma City at 1:10 pm et on Sunday. I think a lot of bettors are going to back the 'under' in this early matchup on Sunday. These matinee affairs often lack intensity and that can manifest itself in a couple of ways, either the offenses take a while to get going or the defenses struggle to lock in and it turns into a track meet. There's more than enough offensive talent involved for us to see the latter in my opinion on Sunday. Yes, the Thunder are an elite defensive team and come in rested having not played since Thursday's 104-102 win over Boston. The Timberwolves aren't going to take it easy on them here, however, noting that they just snapped a three-game slide on Friday and have regained their offensive rhythm, scoring 128 and 127 points over their last two games. The last time they faced OKC on January 29th they put up 123 points in a back-to-back spot. The Thunder have had some key contributors in and out of the lineup lately and I think that's affected their offensive form. Having been off since Thursday, I think they've been working to fine-tune that offense and will come out strong against Minnesota on Sunday. Take the over (8*).
