- The Pistons are coming into this game with a 33-11 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won 5 of their last 6 games and they are coming off of a 139-116 win at home against the Kings in their last game, but the Pistons have also been dominating a lot of weak opponents recently while struggling with stronger ones. They actually lost their last game against a team with a winning record, losing at home to the Rockets 111-104, and their 2 wins against teams above .500 prior to that loss were both wins at home by 3 points or less. Their offense has also struggled in those games as they have scored 108 points or less in each of those 3 games against teams with winning records. They are going up against a Nuggets team that is 31-15 this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 6 of their last 8 games and they are coming off of a 102-100 win on the road against the Bucks in their last game.
