Analysis: It was one thing to take the San Antonio Spurs against the fledgling Los Angeles Lakers in the quarterfinals, but tonight it's about the Oklahoma City Thunder and their monstrous ways of cooking teams this season. You ask me right now, and it's a back-to-back championship sweep for the Thunder, as I don't believe there is a better team in the NBA this season. These teams haven't even met this season, so I won't mention their battles from last year. They're irrelevant. What matters is how the Thunder have won and covered their last four - none of them with a point spread less than 11 points. With wins at Golden State, vs. Dallas, in Salt Lake, and vs. Phoenix, the defending champs have won by an average margin of 28.0 points per win. They're dominating on offense to the tune of 131.3 points per game in those four games, and on defense in allowing just 103.3 ppg. Since Nov. 7, the Thunder are 16-0 and winning by an average final of 124.4 to 103.6, and that's just way too hard to ignore, especially when we're talking about what's at stake tonight with this game. I think the Spurs could be tired, as this will be their fifth straight away from San Antonio, and ninth in 10 games away from The Alamo. They've won more than they've lost, but different hotels and arenas the past 22 days is crazy. I'll back the champs in this one, as they storm into the Cup Final with a blowout win.
