Analysis
#710 ST. LOUIS (-) over San Francisco at 8 PM EST In a zone right now off a pair of SU and ATS victories over Loyola Marymount and Central Michigan, St. Louis will pick up another win and cover when it hosts visiting San Francisco. The Dons enter this matchup off a neutral site dub and cover over Mississippi State and this will prove to be a tough encore for head coach Chris Gerlufsen and his kids. Revenge motivation will have the Billikens juiced up for this battle, too. Last year, St. Louis (+9) visited San Francisco and left with a smashing 78-61 loss in its pocket. Thankfully, at home in a payback mode, head coach Josh Schertz and his boys have responded well by notching an outstanding 111-77-2 ATS record including a lucrative 67-40-2 ATS provided they hold a team won/loss percentage of .501 or higher. With those two parameters cranking away and the Billikens facing a foe that arrives off a pointspread victory, this angle jets to a solid 34-12-1 ATS mark and is currently on a blistering 18-3 SU and 17-4 ATS run in its last 21. This isn't the best wagering spot for USF either. In non-conference play going into revenge, San Francisco has been a poor investment posting a soft 22-36-1 ATS record. Provided the Dons are rolling on the road, this angle drops to a rough 10-27 SU and 12-21-1 ATS including a nasty 5-15 SU and 5-13 ATS if they hit the hardwood with steam off a straight up win. Also, when priced as a road dog of +9 or more and holding a team won/loss percentage of .550 or higher, San Francisco carries a poor 1-39 SU and 12-27-1 ATS tally including a horrible 0-18 SU and 2-15-1 ATS provided its opponent owns a team won/loss percentage of .830 or better. Ranked 11th in the NCAA in scoring margin (+22.0) and with six victories by 20 or more points and three wins by 30 or more, the Billikens will cruise to an easy dub and cover here. Take St. Louis. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
