- This is a play on the BUTLER BULLDOGS for our CBB Afternoon Dominator. Butler opened the season 7-1 but is coming off a loss at home against Boise St. one week ago and this is a good rebound spot as it remains home to open Big East Conference action. The Bulldogs have a game at Connecticut on deck which heightens the importance of this one. Providence is coming off a pair of rivalry wins against Rhode Island and Brown to make it three straight wins. The Friars are 6-0 at home but have struggled outside Providence as they are 1-4 with the lone win against Penn St. at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and in its only true road game, the were leveled at Colorado exactly one month ago. 10* (632) Butler Bulldogs
