- Army is coming into this game with a 6-5 record this season and they were 4-4 in the conference. This was not a great season for them, compared to what they did last year, and they also had an awful start to this season as well. They have improved a lot throughout the season though and have been playing much better in their recent games to end the year. They have won 3 of their last 4 as well as 5 of their last 7 games and their losses were not bad in that span either. They lost at home against Tulsa by just 1 point and they also lost on the road by 7 points against Tulane who is in the CFP. Their defense was also awful to start the season, but they have been playing much better over the last month. They are going up against a Navy team that is 9-2 this season and they were 7-1 in the conference. They started the season 7-0 before losing their first 2 games against North Texas and Notre Dame, but they ended the season winning their last 2 straight games against Memphis and South Florida. They have some quality wins in the conference this year and have been a dominant team all season, but their defense has also been awful in a majority of their games. They have actually allowed 31+ points in 6 of their last 7 games and that is going to be a big problem for them in this game. Army is going to be able to move the ball against them and they will keep this a close game. Army is also playing with revenge since they were the elite team last season who was even ranked coming into this game, and they got blown out by Navy in a 31-17 loss. Army has had this game circled all season and now the roles have reversed with Navy being the much stronger team this season, but Army is going to get up for this game and win it outright. Army will cover the spread in this game.
