- The Packers are coming into this game with a 9-3-1 record this season and they have been heating up in their recent games. They have won their last 4 straight games with one of the better defenses in the league right now and they are coming off of a 28-21 win at home against the Bears in their last game. That win against the Bears gave them the lead in the division, but that was also a game that the Packers could not hold a lead in and very well could have lost that game on the final drive of the Bears. Their offense has been much better in their last 2 games and it has actually been better on the road this season, but their defense has actually been much worse as they have allowed 20+ points in each of their last 5 road games and have played some bad opponents in that span as well. They are going up against a Broncos team that is 11-2 this season and they have been on fire in their recent games. They have won their last 10 straight games and they also have one of the better defenses in the league right now. They have not allowed 20 points in 4 of their last 5 games and they have not allowed 20 points in their last 2 home games as well. Their offense has been inconsistent, but the Packers have also had their own inconsistencies on offense this season, and the Broncos have been much better recently as they have scored 22+ points in each of their last 3 games. The Broncos have also been running the ball well with RJ Harvey being very explosive on the ground, and this Packers defense has struggled to stop the run in recent games as they allowed the Bears to run all over them in their own stadium last week. The Broncos also have the quality on offense to attack this Packers secondary which certainly has some holes to exploit. The Packers have been running the ball well this season, but the Broncos do not give up much on the ground and will be able to slow down this Packers offense as they also have a good secondary to lean on. The Broncos will cover the spread in this game.
