- #563 DENVER (-) over Indiana at 7:10 PM EST
Off that double-digit straight up loss at home to the Mavericks, the Nuggets will travel to Nap Town and take care of business against the Pacers. Indiana enters this matchup off a 16-point home loss to Cleveland and this will be another difficult spot for head coach Rick Carlisle and his men.
Historically, Denver has played well in this series, inking a strong 33-9 SU and 25-15-2 ATS record in the last 44 meetings including an elite 15-6 SU and 13-7-1 ATS provided they are playing on the road. Also, since the start of the 2022-23 season, NBA teams that lost straight up priced as a home favorite of -10 or more have inked a profitable 69-29 SU and 58-38-2 ATS mark in their last 98 tries. If our "play on" side is priced as a favorite, this fast-developing angle improves to a rewarding 60-12 SU and 46-24-2 ATS including an outstanding 28-3 SU and 22-8-1 ATS provided they are competing on the road. That bodes well for the Nuggets.
Resting uncomfortably with a 4-17 SU (11-10 ATS) record through the first 21 games, the Pacers will be in for a long night against one of the NBA's best. As it stands, Indiana has been at its financial worst when facing a team that arrives without steam off a straight up loss inking a 29-44-2 ATS record in its last 75 games. In this situation running the court against a foe that fell to the Las Vegas pointspread by double-digits last, Coach Carlisle and his troops fall to a hideous 11-27 ATS including a woeful 4-15 ATS provided they are playing in the comforts of home.
The Nuggets have inked a noteworthy 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS record in their last seven on the road and they'll have no trouble extending the margin in this non-conference battle. Take Denver. Thanks and best of luck, Tom.
