- This is a play on the CLEMSON TIGERS for our CBB Contrarian Crusher. Clemson is off to a 7-1 start following a blowout win over Alabama A&M which was its fourth straight win that included a victory over No. 21 Georgia. That was a neutral floor Quad 1 win and while this is the biggest test of the season, the line is showing that and it is inflated as we have this one at 8. Overall, the schedule has not been elite but this is still a top 25 team that does not turn the ball over and plays solid defense as the Tigers are ranked No. 20 in Effective Field Goal Percentage Defense. Alabama is coming off a 2-1 showing at the Players ERA Tournament in Las Vegas as it lost to Gonzaga before rolling over UNLV and Maryland, two very low ranked teams.
